Hydraulic guillotine shears from the Base line are designed for precise cutting of carbon steel and stainless steel sheets. Thanks to a rigid, welded construction and a hydraulic drive, the machines enable reliable cutting of sheets with lengths from 2 to 4 m and thicknesses from 4 to 12 mm.

An integrated electrically driven backgauge ensures dimensional repeatability, while hydraulic hold-downs clamp the material along the entire cutting length, minimizing deformation. The intuitive E21S numerical controller allows work programs to be stored, and cooling and pressure control systems ensure reliable operation even during long production runs.

As standard, the machines are covered by a 24-month warranty and a training package that includes installation and operator instruction.

Hydraulic system and components

Base line guillotine shears are equipped with high-quality components from well-known manufacturers. A Rexroth hydraulic valve, a main motor under Siemens license, and Schneider electrical components ensure long service life and easy access to spare parts. Instead of flexible hoses, steel hydraulic pipes are used, reducing the risk of leaks and minimizing downtime.

The machine equipment also includes an energy-efficient OCS oil cooling system, which stabilizes oil temperature during long operating periods, and a PCS pressure control system responsible for consistent clamping force and extended blade life.

E21S Controller

The intuitive E21S controller allows convenient storage of up to 40 programs, each containing up to 25 steps. This enables quick recall of settings for repetitive operations, significantly reducing machine setup time. Control of the backgauge and the automatic retraction function after cutting ensure a smooth process, increasing both precision and user comfort.

Backgauge

The precise backgauge, electrically driven via ball screws, allows the cutting length to be set with accuracy down to hundredths of a millimeter. This makes the machine ideal for both single-piece and serial production. The standard 600 mm travel increases the working range, facilitating the processing of larger sheet formats.

Hydraulic hold-downs

Hydraulic hold-downs distributed along the entire length of the beam ensure stable clamping of the sheet during cutting. As a result, the material does not shift and the resulting edges remain straight and clean. The hold-down system increases safety, precision, and repeatability when working with various sheet thicknesses.

Adjustment of blade clearance and cutting angle

The machines are equipped with an adjustment function for the clearance between the blades as well as the cutting angle in the range from 0.5° to 2.5°. This allows precise adjustment of settings to the processed material, minimizing deformation and improving edge quality. Thanks to these adjustments, the guillotine shears guarantee optimal results for both thin and thicker sheets.

Ball transfer table guides

The worktable is equipped with ball rollers that make it easier to move even very heavy sheets while protecting the sheet surface from scratches. This significantly improves workplace ergonomics and enables quick and precise positioning of the material before cutting.

OCS Oil Cooling System

The OCS oil cooling system stabilizes the temperature of the hydraulic system, preventing component overheating during intensive operation. As a result, the service life of seals and hydraulic components is extended, and the machine maintains consistent parameters throughout the entire production cycle—regardless of workload.

PCS Pressure Control System

The advanced PCS system automatically monitors and regulates operating pressure, ensuring ideal conditions for precise cutting. Continuous control of operating parameters results in even, predictable blade wear and increases the reliability of the entire cutting process.
