A record-breaking edition of the largest industrial trade show
FABTECH 2025, once again held in Chicago in September, proved to be the largest and most dynamic edition in the event’s history. Over 42,000 professionals from the manufacturing and metalworking industries visited the McCormick Place exhibition center to meet with more than 1,700 exhibitors. Across 885,000 square feet of exhibition space, hundreds of machines and systems were showcased, including over 300 first-time exhibitors. Visitors were able to see more than 800 product launches and take part in over 200 educational sessions, panel discussions, and workshops. Organizers estimate that the event generated more than USD 80 million in economic impact for the city.
Otinus among innovation leaders
For Otinus, participation in FABTECH 2025 was a natural step in the continued expansion of our presence in the U.S. market. Building on the success of previous editions, we prepared an extensive booth where we presented a full range of sheet metal processing machines: press brakes with various tonnages, guillotine shears, plate rolling machines, and automated cutting lines. A key highlight was the debut of integrated robotic systems, enabling unattended bending and automated material handling.
During live demonstrations, visitors were able to see the performance and precision of our machines firsthand and speak directly with the engineers responsible for their design.
Our booth attracted numerous customers from across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, as well as from Europe and Asia. They were drawn not only by our latest solutions, but also by the opportunity to exchange experience and industry insights. Particular interest was generated by invitations to visit our Chicago showroom, where after the trade fair we demonstrated the full product range in operation. Many companies took advantage of this opportunity, resulting in new contracts and sales inquiries.
Trends and the future
FABTECH 2025 clearly demonstrated that the manufacturing industry is increasingly embracing automation, robotics, and digital technologies. Topics such as energy management, sustainability, and cloud-based solutions were frequently discussed during educational sessions and at exhibitor booths. At Otinus, we actively integrate these solutions into our projects, delivering innovative and comprehensive systems to our customers. We are proud that a Polish brand is gaining strong recognition in such an important market and continues to attract a growing group of supporters.
